27-year old chicken wing connoisseur. Wannnabe food blogger. Soft-rock and alternative music aficionado. Fourth-place winner of the Terrace View Elementary’s 2004 Spelling Bee.
My parents gifted me a Nikon Coolpix L120 in 2011 that I took just about everywhere. Shortly thereafter, I bought a rinky-dink laptop for $300, downloaded some pretty mediocre editing software, and I was hooked. Two DSLR’s, three mirrorless cameras, and about 10 years later, I’m finally diving back into something I’ve always been passionate about.
I still don’t consider myself a “photographer”, just a hobbyist with too much time on her hands and a love for art.
Because love don’t pay the bills, I work as an Assistant Project Manager in construction as my 9-5 (or 6-4, if you want to be exact). Despite being an absolute girly girl on the weekends, I adore construction and its demands. Both of my parents were in construction in some capacity, and I can say with full certainty that I’ve adopted their same pride in helping bring projects to completion.
I wanted to create this space for my own outlets, not just for portrait photography. Here, I’ll be posting personal blogs on my adventures, as well as new things I encounter and other hobbies I may get in to.
